What community needs are you addressing through this program? This program addresses the community’s need for patriotic education, youth engagement, and recognition of service. It provides an accessible, hands-on experience that helps children and families learn American history while honoring veterans, first responders, and local heroes. Each visitor receives a small American flag upon exit, reinforcing a personal connection to the display. Volunteers also engage attendees in conversations about the importance, values, and freedoms of this great nation, strengthening civic pride, respect, and community unity.

Program Anticipated Outcomes: The program’s anticipated outcomes include increased civic awareness, youth engagement, and community pride through an interactive patriotic exhibit. Thousands of participants, especially youth, will gain a deeper understanding of American history, freedoms, and service. Visitors will honor veterans, first responders, and local heroes while strengthening respect for national values. Educational discussions and the distribution of a small American flag to each attendee will foster a lasting personal connection, encouraging continued appreciation of the sacrifices and responsibilities that define this great nation.

Program Impact Measures: Program impact will be measured through attendance and engagement metrics. To date, the exhibit has welcomed over 7,000 visitors in 10 days this past spring at the Spring Preserve in Las Vegas with another event in the fall, demonstrating strong community interest and reach. Additional measures include youth participation numbers, number of venues served, flags distributed, and educational interactions with attendees. Feedback from partners, educators, and community members will help assess increases in civic awareness, historical knowledge, and community pride. Continued requests to host the exhibit will further indicate long-term impact and program success.

The total program budget is $57,450. To date, a significant portion of the project has been funded through Club resources and in-kind support. At this time, $45,000 remains to be raised to fully fund the program. Additional funding is being pursued through grants, community partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts. These funds will support continued programming, transportation and setup costs, educational materials, and the long-term sustainability of the exhibit as it reaches multiple venues and serves thousands of community members throughout the year.
