Heroes United to Heal (HU2H) was founded to provide veterans and first responders with life-changing resources that restore hope, promote healing, and remind them they are not alone in their struggles with PTSD and other invisible wounds of trauma. Our mission is rooted in connection, education, and evidence based approaches that empower heroes to understand their experiences and begin a meaningful path toward recovery.
One of the most effective ways HU2H fulfills this mission is through immersive, peer-supported retreats that combine scientifically proven strategies with camaraderie and holistic healing opportunities. During these retreats, participants reconnect with fellow veterans and first responders, rebuild trust, and receive education on trauma and innovative therapeutic modalities, many of which are not readily accessible through traditional systems. Each program is thoughtfully designed and led by experts, allowing activities, classes, and experiences to be adapted to meet individual needs.
HU2H is currently seeking $125,000 to fund five seven-day retreats, covering all essential costs including airfare, lodging, meals, and program activities. This initiative will provide dozens of heroes with a safe, supportive environment to heal, rediscover purpose, and return home equipped with the tools and confidence needed to continue their healing journey.
