KIDS FOR VETS INC

Kids For Vets is a volunteer group where kids run lemonade stands throughout the Quad City area to raise money for different veteran organizations and veteran families. Kids For Vets directly supports other non-profit organizations that exclusively support veterans and their families, through community support and monetary donations. Currently, the funds raised goes to Seal Family Legacy, QC Honor Flight, the QC Veterans Outreach Center, and our personal Kids for Vets VIP Program. Most importantly we teach children the importance of what veterans sacrificed so we can have our freedom. We also provide kids an opportunity to work on their communication skills, focusing on a project for several hours, what it means to be a servant/volunteer and healthy sanitation skills. We felt that COVID took many of these skills away from our children, and we wanted to give families the opportunity to work on those skills while serving their community.
