Operation Patriots FOB’s 2024 goal is to host monthly retreats at the FOB for our Bluffton/Hilton Head area veterans, active-duty, first responders and their families. These retreats provide recreational therapy, team building, outdoor recreation, along with an ongoing mentoring program to help reduce the alarming rate of suicides. These retreats are for veterans, active-duty, and first responders suffering from PTSD, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and the scars, nightmares, and flashbacks from having served. The project also has built into its budget the inclusion of the family members as a part of the overall healing process.
