PORTRAITS FOR PATRIOTS

Our vision is for all job-seeking veterans, spouses and Gold Star dependents to have a first-class, portfolio-quality "headshot" to assist with self-image, professional networking and job search activities while transitioning from honorable service. We are based in Colorado Springs, CO with scores of locations, nationwide. Our program is championed by local and national veteran's support organizations and the federally-mandated Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at U.S. military installations, worldwide. Nationally, we receive over 1,000 inquiries each month and we are regularly onboarding new volunteer Portraiteer™ photographers to help meet the need.

We are volunteer-powered and do not have a sponsor. Please know that your gifts absolutely help us to continue growing and serving. In addition to the many individual sessions provided by our volunteers each day, we are evolving our outreach in these two important areas:

The Portraits For Patriots® Academy for our military spouses: This initiative provides a comprehensive training curriculum, mentorship, ongoing support and a proper studio lighting kit for our military "spouses with cameras" that are interested in pursuing professional photography. In addition to enlisting new photographers and increasing our availability at or near US installations, this program will also provide our spouse community with a rewarding, profitable and highly-transportable skillset! This is a resource-intensive initiative and your support absolutely is welcome.

The Portfolio Expo: At separation endpoints where volume is overwhelming or in areas where we do not have volunteers, we produce events on/near base and dispatch our Mobile Studio Units for multi-day activations. At these "Portfolio Expos" we can help over 300 of our most worthy Americans feel great about their profiles, each day.
