Hooves of Hope is a nonprofit organization that has been providing equine assisted activities to individuals with diverse needs since 2006, with trained staff that have been providing equine activities in this community since 2000. Our facility has an indoor and outdoor riding arena, round pen, four pastures, three grooming bays, wash stall, Theraplate room, parent viewing room equipped with a two way mirror, educational room, and staff offices.

Hooves of Hope Equestrian Center programs benefits individuals with varying intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disorders, or behavioral disorders such as: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning or Language delays, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Cerebral Vascular Accident, PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression, starting at the age of 4.
Our programs provide valuable and highly successful help to our riders with a wide range of ability levels, building physical strengths such as muscle development, balance and increased co-ordination skills at the same time as increasing self-confidence and socialization. Individual achievements of our riders with their equine partner often translate to successes in their everyday life also. It’s imperative that our participants continue their therapy with us, while we make room for additional participants.
Hooves of Hope Equestrian Center, Inc is help building a stronger community while benefiting some of the most vulnerable people. Our ability to provide services to individuals with special needs who benefit from our program is made possible through community and individual support with fundraisers, contributions and grants.
