This program provides monthly food boxes to our local veterans, and are distributed at a VA hospital or clinic. This is the first pilot program through our Feeding America partner that is specific to feeding veterans. Countless veterans in West Virginia are not receiving the support they need, even when it comes down to basic necessities such as food. These boxes ensure our veterans’ needs are met.
We are encouraging individuals, families, and organizations to sponsor a Veteran Food Box that will be distributed throughout our 48 county service area. With $20.00 you can provide one veteran and their family with a food box for the month.
