MOTORCYCLE RELIEF PROJECT
EVERGREEN, ColoradoMotorcycle Relief Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides relief to veterans with PTSD and other injuries by taking them on structured and professionally-led multi-day motorcycle adventures designed to honor and encourage veterans while providing opportunities for them to decompress, get unstuck, connect with other veterans, and take meaningful steps toward healing and recovery.
Motorcycle Relief Project (MRP) was founded in 2014 to provide relief to veterans who are face difficulties coping with life after deployment. MRP puts on 5-day motorcycle "Relief Rides" during which participants have the opportunity to ride dual-sport motorcycles both on and off-road. During the day participants are able to ride through spectacular scenery, improve their riding skills, and bond with other veterans. At night participants take part in workshops designed to give them a chance to share their struggles, vent their frustrations, and learn new techniques for dealing with stress and managing relationships. MRP depends on donors who can appreciate the therapeutic nature of motorcycling and wish to be of service to those who served our country in the military.
