LEXINGTON THEATRE COMPANY

First, by offering fantastic artistic and cultural experiences, The Lex will enhance the community of Lexington and surrounding region. The Lex will provide a product that will serve to further arts appreciation, community involvement, and hopefully have a strong economic impact for Downtown Lexington.
Second, The Lex will offer an educational component for young people. This will be accomplished by several means. These will include professional employment for collegiate actors looking for an opportunity to train in their craft, alongside veterans of the industry; apprenticeships and internships for high-school and college students in all aspects of the theatre industry; outreach programs for younger children to help expose them to the beauty and importance of theatre in their community.
