Our Neighbors Fund provides medical grants for wellness, urgent and emergency services including dental, prescriptions, grooming, recreation and behavioral for pets in hardship and prolonged crisis. Specifically, this is for our seniors and veterans, our most vulnerable neighbors with companion pets. With COVID and now inflation, so many of our neighbors can no longer afford medical or access to vet care. Most of our seniors and veterans receive some form of State or Federal assistance and require help with medical services for their pets. Our Neighbors Fund provides that relief
Our Neighbors Fund will support and ensure our neighbors with access to goods and services, including referrals, advocacy, community resources and transportation to ensure pet ownership. In indigent cases, we provide motel safe housing for both owner and pet. We give pet food and pet supplies for one month as well
