Happy Holidays- OP Mission US Wildfires: Giving Tuesday

During the Oregon wildfires we provide shelter for 250 people, food for 100,000 people, food for 18 Fire Stations while Oregon Firefighters battled three of it's largest fires. Thousands of residents had evacuation orders. Three of the largest blazes, the Beachie Creek, Lionshead and Holiday Farm Fires scorched more than 1 million acres. During California wildfires we provided 1,500 meals while California Firefighters battled the huge LNU Complex Fire. Evacuation orders where in effect for Northwest corner of Yolo County, including the community of Rumsey and the area near Cache Creek Canyon Regional Park. The Complex fire is the third largest fire in California history, at least 119 homes where destroyed and 50,000 acres burned. During the Washington wildfires we provided 10,000 meals to victims, while Washington firefighters battled the Cold Springs fire, Pearl Hill Fire, Whitney Fire and the Inchelium Complex fires. The most destructive fire was in the Malden and Wittman County, about 200 people homes burned to the ground, also the Post Office, City Hall and the fire department reduced to rubble and 800,000 acres burned.
