We serve California from Fresno, to the Pacific Ocean to the Mexican Border, to the Arizona Border. We are not aware of any other programs with the wide range of demographics that provide this much needed program like our Provisions for Patriots. Our limitations are only as far as someone will come to us. Soon we will have a warehouse in Las Vegas, NV area.
At Patriots and Paws we currently have 2 Programs, each vital to our Veterans.
Our Provisions for Patriots program, is where free basic home furnishing is provide to Veterans, Active Duty Military, Reservist and their families who are recommencing their life from nothing to furnishings such as; beds, bedding, dining tables and chairs, refrigerators, stoves, washer and dryers, large and small sofas, recliners, kitchenware and utensils, TV's, radios, blankets, lamps, corner tables, dressers, pictures, and much more to help get started back into civilian life.
Patriots and Paws, give them dignity, independence and a new beginning of quality living.
Our Paws Partners Program has changed a bit since there is a new law in effect in California, that a Veteran can go to a county shelter and adopt an animal at no cost. This helps us to unite, Veterans who are interested, with a rescued companionship animal that is fixed, current on shots and micro-chipped. To see our Veterans and rescued pets become a family is priceless. We currently work with two agency they trains them to become a service animal. When one of our Veterans has PTSD issues a service animal will help them to be able to control some of these triggers. We are current working to advance our Paws Program to allow us to have a kennel that a Veteran can kennel their animal at no cost, so they can go and get much needed medical procedures, and other areas they may need to kennel their animal for a short time.
For each and every Veteran/Active Military/Reservist and their families, and disabled and homeless Veterans, we are honored to help and make a difference in improving the quality of their life, giving them dignity, and helping improving their mental health as our Veterans return to civilian life and become a member of society and their community.
We are expanding our services to Southern Nevada to serve the 278,000 Veterans and all of the active duty, including Nevada National Guard and reservists.
