WEST POINT CLASS OF 1998 MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND INC

The 98 Fund was originally founded in 2008 by members of West Point's Class of 1998. Initially focused on scholarships for the children of our Fallen, we have expanded to support veterans and their families in need and have created a retreat (The Alaska Project) where we provide mentorship opportunities between families of the Fallen and those who served with their loved ones in uniform.

The Alaska Project (TAKP) is a veteran-led and mentor-based retreat program supporting Gold Star and Survivor Families, Veterans, and those connected to the military. It is the primary focus of The 98 Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit originally formed to focus on memorial scholarships in 2008. In short, The Alaska Project is a purpose-built place to Honor and Remember those we have lost and keeping our solemn promise to Never Forget them.
