Indiana United Way award PCS with a $1.5M match grant and adjoining property was gifted to PCS because have no more office space to add more therapists. This means that we are limited on the number of new clients we can serve. We average 331 referrals per month and as a result of our Board of Directors, community leaders, staff and legislators encouraging PCS to expand, we have done completed a feasibility study, secured a contractor, secured all permits, conducted a Geo study and we are ready for groundbreaking. PCS is in the public phase of a Capital Campaign to raise $3M.
This expansion is a 10,667 square foot facility that will allow PCS to hire 10 new clinicians that will serve another 250 individuals and families per week. These services include psychotherapy, music therapy, Play Therapy, medication management, addiction therapy and Intensive Outpatient Programs for substance use disorders. Sixty-seven percent of our clients are children and youth; 59% are at or below the federal poverty guidelines. Thirty-nine percent of our clients are uninsured or under-insured.
