OCOOCH MOUNTAIN HUMANE SOCIETY INC

The Ocooch Mountain Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to stray, unwanted, or abandoned animals in the Richland County area of Wisconsin. Founded on the principles of compassionate care, the organization is committed to assisting the community by helping place animals in healthy, humane surroundings while providing education and information about responsible animal care for all members of the community.

We are a local, privately funded humane society with a physical shelter for cats located in Richland Center. We also rescue dogs who are placed with foster families until they find their forever homes. All the animals we care for are examined by a veterinarian, tested routinely for common diseases, vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to placing them with families. We also have a limited TNR program for the surrounding communities and provide education on animal care for the community.
