The mission of “It Takes Faith” is to create independent media centered on telling
stories about trans faith leaders, queer spiritual communities and queer people of faith,
through documentary and conceptual photography. The project aims to foster
community and create opportunities for healing among intersecting communities such
as queer communities, religious communities, and queer spiritual communities by
facilitating exhibitions to share stories centering the perspective of trans faith leaders
and queer people of faith.
