Law School Student Association - La Voz

by UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA LAS VEGAS FOUNDATION

La Voz is the Latin/Hispanic Law Student Association at the William S. Boyd School of Law whose primary focus is to empower and promote the success of law students with backgrounds that are not traditionally represented in the legal profession. It is most known for the Huellas program. Huellas, "footprints" in Spanish, is a nationally recognized and award-winning mentorship program that pairs a local J.D. holder, Boyd law student, an undergraduate student, and a high school student for the purpose of mentoring and support. Through Huellas and other programs, La Voz successfully serves as a unifying and informative organization that connects with the Latin/Hispanic community as well as functions as an educational and cultural instrument for all students, faculty, and staff.
