Otter & Penguin Makerspaces was founded to develop shared spaces and resources, in support of the arts in areas where community growth is pushing out organizations and individual artists from affordable space. We work with developers, fellow non-profits, and government agencies to acquire underutilized space at a low cost. Then based on the zoning laws and the physical elements of the space, we develop the space to suit the support of a variety of art forms both visual and performing arts. In addition to providing space we also provide classes mostly targeting the novice and DIY citizen.
