COOK FOR VETS INC

Cook For Vets (CFV), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established on May 19, 2022, is a movement of Souls Feeding Souls with a "boots on the ground" approach to help provide food security for Veterans in need. CFV prepares, cooks, packages, and delivers meals to Veterans in need. The deliveries include Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as groceries to support sustained nutrition.

CFV also spreads awareness of the need for Veteran food security to inspire a community of like-minded individuals to make a difference in the lives of Veterans.

Leonard Stanley Friedman serves as the inspiration for Cook For Vets. Len served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1950 during the Korean War. Len is the late father of Cook For Vets’ President and Founder, LJ Raspler. In honor of Len’s memory, Cook For Vets was founded with a deep respect to provide food security for the brave individuals in need who risked their lives and served our country.
