LAONA BEAUTIFYING COMMITTEE

The Laona Beautifying Committee was formed in October of 2021 by eight individuals from the Town of Laona, focused on improving the livelihood and physical state of Laona. The Committee has provided opportunities for the community of Laona to participate in a wide variety of events and physical enhancement for the town and its citizens. The Committee has provided events such as town clean up days, town rummage sales, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Vintage Christmas Party, and soon to come Rock the Block - Summer Concert Series. Almost all of these events are free to the Laona and surrounding communities. The committee has many plans to continue to provide experiences, activities, and over all community togetherness for the town and its people. The Committees goal is to bring our community together, making sure that we are planning activities across the board for all of the residents in the Laona community. We want to continue to provide a place or setting where people can come together with their families and friends from all platforms, backgrounds, and ages to make the Laona Community vibrant and whole once again. As we provide events and outings for our community and receive funding we will be able to improve the town in its physical appeal and build shelters and areas that our community will be able to use whenever they choose. We are currently working on a large park revitalization project for our community and plan to have that completed by 2025 if funding can be secured. This will be secured by outside funding sources and from the donations we receive from our events and promotional sponsorships that we provide for the Town of Laona.
