DISCOVERY EDUCATION STATION INCORPORATED

Discovery Education Station is a nonprofit, community-centered learning hub dedicated to providing inclusive, hands-on STEA²M experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Agriculture, and Mathematics for children, teens, and adults of all abilities. Based in rural Marshfield, Wisconsin, our mission is to inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and support families—especially those with special needs—through interactive education and compassionate care programs.

We offer a wide range of enriching activities, including sensory-friendly learning experiences, afterschool programs, summer camps, VR technology exploration, engineering and science challenges, animal ambassador encounters, and community events designed around accessibility and inclusion. Discovery Education Station also partners with Wisconsin’s CLTS and IRIS programs to provide respite care, daily living skills training, transportation support, and meaningful engagement opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to creating a welcoming environment where every learner can thrive. We are continuously developing innovative programs such as sensory-interactive museum spaces, adult day services, inclusive community field trips, and workforce-related skill-building experiences. Through AmeriCorps partnerships, volunteer involvement, and collaborations with local organizations, we maximize resources to serve families and strengthen our community.
