This project is important to the community in that it brings art and awareness to Bartlett. Currently, the Mid-South Artist Gallery is the only art collaborative in the city of Bartlett. Art serves as a concern stone to opening doors, awareness, inclusivity, and community. This project brings art and people together who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Affective charities are those enlisting the assistance of the community, the arts serve as the bridge that brings them together. 100% of the funds raised from this event goes to the partnering charity (or charities) of that year, the gallery keeps none of the money raised, we are 100% volunteers’ no one is paid.
