FUTURE FIRE ACADEMY

Future Fire Academy is dedicated to creating opportunities for underserved communities, veterans, young adults, and justice-involved men and women who desire a career in the fire service. This is accomplished through job specific training, education, community service, and character development.

We believe that access to a career in the fire service should be obtainable. We offer scholarships and tuition assistance for individuals to attend our wildland fire academies that provide certifications that qualify them for forestry technician and firefighting careers with Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, CAL FIRE, private fire companies, and seasonal positions with municipal departments. We have a fuel reduction division that our cadets participate in giving them hands on training while also earning a stipend.
