The Goot (Heart) Director oversees the community cultural education for the Goot program, and has developed course curriculum that extensively covers foundational knowledge of northwest coast culture. Each community will have their own curriculum tailored to the Goot (Heart) program structure.

Goot is a facility for a safe space where community members can mitigate disruptions in their lives. Technical assistance is available by a qualified Goot (Heart) technician, assisting in technology, career development, social enrichment, and learning / healing. Community healing and social engagement techniques are utilized.
The technician(s) facilitate access to personal disruption mitigation spaces and services. Goot facilities offer Internet access, technology assistance, financial literacy, and counseling services if requested. Emergency contact numbers are available as well as pathways to technical trainings and higher education.
The Goot (Heart) technician teaches classes on culture within the community.
