Forgotten Coast K9

Our small nonprofit organization, located in Florida, has successfully placed close to 40 dogs in the past four years. Currently, our dogs are in 15 states, and we aim to expand our reach, assisting as many veterans and first responders as we can.

Our school, Service Paws Academy, boasts a team of experienced professionals dedicated to training and educating both our clients and their dogs. The handlers undergo an eight-week live online educational program, concurrent with the dog's training that usually starts at the age of eight weeks. Upon completing the courses, the handler and dog are united for an additional four months of bonding and training, which includes weekly live check-ins. This phase culminates with another formal online class, finalizing the transformation of their canine companion into a true service dog.
