RUF’s Young Leaders Programs are building one of the most comprehensive youth engagement and leadership networks of the 21st century — a global movement uniting Romanian and Moldovan students from around the world.
We help young people reconnect with their heritage, develop their potential, and build global networks that serve both Romania and the diaspora.
All donations are 100% pass-through and matched up to 100% by partners.

To empower the next generation of Romanian and Moldovan changemakers through mentorship, scholarships, leadership training, and civic engagement.
Program Pillars
1. Student Ambassadors – Leaders across 1,000+ universities uniting student clubs and organizing global events.
2. MentLink – A professional mentorship network connecting students with mentors for internships, coaching, and career guidance.
3. RoScholars – Merit-based scholarships for outstanding students and athletes from Romania and Moldova.
4. Heritage Trail – A 30-day immersive journey through Romania, reconnecting diaspora youth with culture and community.
5. Young Leaders Summit – A leadership and civic engagement summit for top young professionals and students.
Your Impact
A gift of $300 funds one Student Ambassador event, while $500 covers participation for a young changemaker at the Young Leaders Summit.
With $1,250, you can operate our MentLink mentorship program for one month—creating five new mentor–mentee matches.
A contribution of $2,500 provides a RoScholars scholarship that will be 100% matched, doubling your impact.
Your $3,500 sponsorship fully supports one participant in the Heritage Trail, an immersive leadership and cultural experience across Romania.
At $5,000, you receive naming rights for a RoScholars scholarship, recognizing your leadership in education and youth empowerment.
