Our Mission, Partnerships, and Approach to Support:
The Stay In The Fight Veterans Foundation (SITFVF) partners with the North Texas Regional Court and VALOR to provide essential support and opportunities for veterans whose legal challenges are linked to injuries sustained during their service. We are dedicated to connecting military bravery with successful career paths and a stable civilian life.
This program offers crucial resources, mental health support, and a robust community for veterans navigating the difficult transition back to civilian life. These are individuals who, due to combat-related injuries—both visible and unseen—are considered high-risk. Their needs are incredibly diverse, including securing stable housing, finding employment, and accessing vital mental health services and executive coaching.
SITFVF works to ensure these heroes receive the specialized care they desperately need to overcome their challenges and thrive. Through partnerships, we provide services such as equine therapy, mental health counseling, and job-skills training, empowering them to rebuild their lives and find success.
SITFVF has helped launch a program called Healing Homefronts. This program is designed to help provide comprehensive, simultaneous support to justice-involved veterans and their families. This isn't just about the veteran; it's about the entire family unit. The goal is to offer specialized therapy and services that address the unique challenges of reunification, helping them to communicate, cope, and ultimately, reconnect.
