LEONARD W KIDD MEMORIAL POST 2001 CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

ASHBURN, Virginia

The Leonard W. Kidd Memorial Post 2001 Charitable Foundation mission is to provide financial support to Loudoun County, Virginia, military veterans and their families in times of temporary financial crisis.

The financial support provides direct payments to service providers like landlords, utility companies, healthcare and other providers.
In many cases this financial crisis is caused due to illness, temporary job loss, work hour reductions or an unexpected large expense which was not planned for.
The Charitable Foundation raises funding through donations from Board members, citizens and corporations and mainly grant writing to various organizations. It was created as 501(c)(3) nonprofit to expand the range of sources of funding to support veterans.
In addition to providing support to military veterans, the Foundation also supports active duty military, military Reservists, and National Guard members and their families with financial assistance.
