Musically Fed works with artists, promoters, and venues to donate unused backstage meals to community organizations that feed the homeless, hungry and food insecure. The Phoenix-based non-profit researches and identifies local opportunities, then coordinates all aspects of food pick-up, transport and drop-off.
Not only do we provide food to individuals, families, and groups in need, we address the issue of sustainability. Musically Fed is the only entity that “rescues” unused backstage and VIP catering from concerts, festivals, and sports events nationwide. The repurposed catering from each event provides meals to veterans, people facing homelessness, domestic violence survivors, entertainment industry workers in need due to the pandemic, families with children unable to meet government requirements for food assistance, people seeking behavioral health treatment, and other at-risk individuals.
Musically Fed receives no government funds. It's the collective donations of individuals, corporations, philanthropists and foundations that maintain Musically Fed's mission to "rescue" live events catering to feed the hungry. With these private donations and creative peer-to-peer fundraising, we have coordinated delivery of food and meals to community organizations across the country, rather than deplete local food banks.
