This college scholarship for female bluegrass musicians is awarded annually in the amount of $2,000 recipient. The Forrester scholarship has a small endowment fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The scholarship is named after Sally Ann Forrester, the first female member of Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys in the 1940s.
