Pakistan floods relief fund- Help Pakistan recover from floods

by SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI

The Pakistan government has declared devastating floods a “national emergency” after nearly 1,000 people died and more than 30 million are without shelter as monsoon rains continue to lash the South Asian nation. At least 937 people have died since mid-June, including 343 children, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), with large swaths of the southwestern province of Balochistan remaining submerged, bringing back the memory of the devastating 2010 floods. We stood ready to help Pakistan recover from floods. We have created this fund to provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organisation; we work to save lives, defeat poverty and also provide tools for sustainable change to the people most vulnerable to hunger, violence , disaster and disease.
