Microsoft Military Affairs has chosen Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Program as the non-profit beneficiary of our cohort group mentor time-match donations. Through the R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), Gary Sinise Foundation supports our nation’s most severely wounded heroes with 100% mortgage-free specially adapted smart homes, and our injured, wounded ill and/or aging heroes with home modifications, mobility devices & adapted vehicles. The support the Gary Sinise Foundation offers through the R.I.S.E. program helps to ease the daily challenges faced by these defenders and their families who sacrificed alongside them.
The MSSA program is similarly passionate about empowering our veterans through our fully funded, 17-week program. By providing training, mentorship, and job opportunities, we are committed to supporting the independence of our nation’s heroes as they transition into new careers in the civilian world. We are honored to stand by the Gary Sinise Foundation and their support of these heroes by offering this program to R.I.S.E. recipients as well, starting with our first student this Fall!
Your recent cohort mentor hours are eligible for a $25/hr. time-match donation through Microsoft GIVE back to Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. Program. Their organization can use these funds to continue to support the empowerment and independence of our nation’s heroes and their families – MSSA and beyond.
