Celebrating 36 years of building hope and homes, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is a 501©3 nonprofit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to put love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat families put in 500 hours of "sweat equity' building their homes and take on a 0% interest equivalent, 30-year mortgage. The program is an empowerment program and is only made possible through the 2,500 local volunteers we host every year and generous donations from the local community.
