Connecticut Flooding Response Underway

by CONVOY OF HOPE

August 22, 2024 | 10:35 a.m.
Heavy rainfall in the Northeast caused significant flooding in Connecticut earlier this week. At least 10 inches of rain fell, resulting in two deaths and 100 people displaced. Several mudslides, swollen rivers, and numerous washed-out roadways and bridges have made for a long road to recovery for numerous communities in the state.

Convoy of Hope is responding. A load of essential supplies left Convoy’s World Distribution Center yesterday and is en route to the affected area, where partners on the ground will distribute much-needed resources — food, water, hygiene supplies, and more — to people in need.
