KPB Bebot Beach Tour & Kids Can Cleanup at Sand Key Park
by KEEP PINELLAS BEAUTIFUL INCJoin Keep Pinellas Beautiful for our Bebot Beach Tour to kick off the Great American Cleanup! The BeBot is a unique robot designed to sift the top layer of beach sand to extract the small litter and debris hiding just under our feet. Check out the video below, then sign up and come see the BeBot in action on March 1st! Student volunteers will assist with a beach cleanup alongside our KPB Bebot, play games to learn more about the prevalence of ocean litter and the impact it has on our marine environment, and create a craft on microplastics to take home with them.
Through activities like “Kids Can” and other youth-driven programs, we hope to lay the foundation for the next generation of environmental leaders. Together, we will keep Pinellas County beautiful!
