From a small office in an apartment complex to a thriving operation center in St. Petersburg, Volunteers of America of Florida is known by its ministry of service.
We are an established provider of comprehensive services for vulnerable Floridians.
Responding to those we serve, we have grown from one affordable housing program to more than 72 programs and services in 23 communities throughout Florida and Puerto Rico.
In response to community needs, we touch 5,500 individuals daily with a staff of 250 passionate, creative and dedicated professionals. Our person-oriented, outcome-driven service approach offers affordable housing, behavioral health care, and training, education and employment services in an integrated continuum of care.
Persons and families dealing with aging frailty, homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, physical and developmental disabilities as well as well as our friends and neighbors with limited financial resources thrive from personalized human services that ensure satisfaction and fulfillment. Volunteers of America of Florida offers a pathway to stability and self-sufficiency.
