LOWCOUNTRY FOOD BANK INC

The Lowcountry Food Bank works to unite our community in pursuit of equitable, dignified, and consistent access to food in the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Each year, the Lowcountry Food Bank partners with nearly 230 feeding agencies (non-profit and faith-based organizations), community/senior centers, meal distribution sites, and schools to distribute more than 40 million pounds of food and other essential items to over 200,000 children, seniors, Veterans, and adults experiencing food insecurity across coastal South Carolina. More than 50% of the neighbors we serve are children and seniors. The programs we implement not only ensure that our community is fed, but also provide our neighbors with healthy food. We have a vision for a nourished and thriving coastal South Carolina.
