EANGUS WE CARE FOR AMERICA FOUNDATION INC

The EANGUS “We Care for America” Foundation, Inc. is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The primary purpose of the foundation is the National Guard Relief Foundation which provides assistance in the form of Grants and No-Interest Loans to members of the Army and Air National Guard and their families who have experienced a catastrophic financial hardship and/or personal property loss. Specific examples include loss of home due to fires, floods and tornadoes. Other examples include unexpected financial hardships during deployments or tragic losses of family members.

The emergency relief fund was established in 2003, when it was discovered that the Army Emergency Relief Fund and the Air Force Aid Society only covered active duty and reserve personnel, but not members of the Army and Air National Guard. As such, EANGUS was committed to provide some of those same emergency aid services to fill that void; however, we receive no government funding and rely solely on corporate and individual donations. In 2020-2021, the fund provided over $850,000 in grants to National Guard members impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and we are working to keep up with the demand and requests for assistance from National Guard servicemembers who have been impacted by the growing number of natural disasters and the economy.
