Our Adult Day Services (ADS) Program is a state licensed, Veteran’s Administration approved program for adults ages 45+ with chronic conditions requiring daily supervision. Client diagnosis includes Alzheimer’s, Dementia, related disorders, cardiovascular disease, severe depression & others. This program helps keep families intact & prevents premature placement in nursing homes while families maintain their employment. PPNSC’s Adult Day Services program utilizes a social model instead of a medical one, noteworthy because it is one of its kind in the state of Virginia.
PPNSC recognizes the importance of socialization and independence for older adults. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings we provide coffee, juice, and hot community breakfast in our lobby. We refer to this time as Coffee and Chat. Coffee and Chat is free, and open to anyone; not just members of PPNSC.
