The Shenandoah Arts Council (ShenArts) works to make the arts accessible and enrich the community of the Northern Shenandoah Valley with diverse and immersive arts experience for people of all ages — bringing art to the people and people to the art.
ShenArts was incorporated in 1978 and has grown and changed to meet the needs of the community. It has proven to be a sustainable non-profit organization, with support from individuals, businesses, and the local city government. ShenArts focuses on art for everyone through education, programming, exhibits, and youth initiatives.
