MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA OF FREDERICKSBURG INC

Since 1955, Mental Health America Fredericksburg Region has identified gaps in the delivery of behavioral health services, addressing these needs by creating unique programs and building coalitions that increase access to care for mental health and substance use disorder supports across the community.

Serving over 10,000 each year, MHAfred connects people with appropriate and available resources; educates to promote mental health awareness and understanding; advocates for policies and programs that impact the lives of people with mental health problems in our community; and creates and incubates programs tailored to meet those needs through collaborative efforts. Mental Health America Fredericksburg Region's programs currently include MHAfred HELPLINE, Senior Visitors, Suicide Prevention Education, and Support Services.
