The Bodhi Battalion seeks to address the underlying issues unique to veterans, first responders, and their families struggling with independence and life balance. The organization was established as a result of the considerable deficit of government and community providers offering individualized, knowledgeable, and dependable services.
The Bodhi Battalion's primary focus is on veterans and first responders struggling with posttraumatic stress and other mental health challenges. With the use of a multifaceted and integrative approach, we will redefine the methods and timeframes in which veterans and first responders are assessed and treated for posttraumatic stress, substance use, and related behavioral/mental health afflictions.
With the right combination of support, we can harness the potential of every individual we serve. We recently obtained a property large enough to develop a K9 training facility with kennels for the service dogs in training and space for therapeutic services. The intention is to maximize the property's potential to serve as a refuge for participants needing a place to decompress and feel supported. Using custom-trained service dogs, animal-assisted therapy, and unmatched services, we can assist more veterans and first responders with their transition to an independent, balanced life.
Our mission is clear: to unleash independence and provide positive support to veterans and first responders in need. We achieve this through custom-trained assistance dogs and critical therapy resources, ensuring that every veteran and first responder we serve can transition to an independent, balanced life.
