This program provides 3 hours of equine therapy and academic activities in an outdoor classroom on a monthly basis for up to 12 children. At a group rate of $35/hour/child, each child attends 3 hours of equine therapy for just $105. This program is provided September - May, for a total of 9 months of equine therapy. The fee for each child to attend is just $105/month or $945 for the school year. The total fee for 12 students to attend is $11,340, however, with all expenses calculated, the true cost to provide this program to 12 children over 9 months is $34,030. Teachers and administrators rave about the positive benefits and outcomes of this program. However, the schools do not have the budget for this program, nor can parents afford to pay.
