NATIONAL GUARD ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON FOUNDATION

The NGAW Foundation is the 501(c)3 non-profit charity arm of the National Guard Association of Washington. The NGAW Foundation provides financial support to military veterans and the Soldiers, Airmen, and family members of the Washington National Guard through emergency financial grants, educational scholarships, and historical programs. The NGAW Foundation works closely with Joint Services Support (JSS) - Washington to raise funds for various charitable events throughout the year, as well as to help individual Washington National Guard Soldiers and Airmen in need. All recipients of NGAW Foundation grants are vetted by JSS in order to be eligible for assistance.

Examples of how we've helped in the past:
+ Distributed grocery gift cards during the Covid shutdown to Washington National Guard members in need of assistance
+ Purchased a plane ticket for a family member to fly to a Washington National Guard member injured while training out of state
+ Provided funds to help a Washington Guardsman buy plane tickets to fly family members to WA from out of the country for a funeral
