The Michigan Warriors Hockey Program (MWHP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to use the sport of hockey and the environment it offers both on and off the ice as a catalyst for improving the mental- and physical-wellbeing of Disabled Veterans, their families, and their communities.

Since its establishment in 2014, the Michigan Warriors Hockey program has
evolved from a small group of Veterans playing pick-up hockey to a
professional-level organization with over 200 members from all over Southeast Michigan. In addition to competing in veteran and first responder events and tournaments around the country, members of the MWHP also participate in local charity programs and social
