House A Vet, a non-profit 501 (C) (3) Veteran service organization aiding homeless and economically disadvantage Veterans and their families in Martin, St Lucie, Okeechobee and North West Palm Beach counties by helping them achieve success of comfortable safe home, improving their quality of life. House A Vet program is local, tangible and meaningfully impacts the lives of our Veterans by helping them meet their housing and social needs. This is achieved through House A Vet's numerous programs that assist in such areas as; minor home repairs and maintenance, temporary housing, permanent housing, access to a well stock food pantry, weekly hot meals, weekly access to VA representative, social and mental health services, transportation, education through weekly Lunch & Learns, free monthly haircuts, Emergency Veteran Assistance Fund, Holiday meals and gifts.
