4 Paws 2 Freedom is a nonprofit organization that provides free, comprehensive service dog training for Veterans and First Responders living with PTSD and anxiety. Our unique program empowers participants to train their own dogs under the guidance of experienced instructors, ensuring a strong, trusting bond and long-term success as a handler-dog team.

Beyond obedience and task training, we educate participants about their legal rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), helping them navigate public access with confidence and professionalism. Our trauma-informed approach creates a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth are possible.

We also foster an ongoing sense of community through monthly newsletters featuring mental health tips, canine care advice, and inspirational handler spotlights that showcase the powerful impact of our work. At 4 Paws 2 Freedom, we believe in restoring hope, independence, and purpose—one paw at a time.
