Car 2 Cottage

Car 2 Cottage Project is a peer-led support network helping women aged 50+ transition from living in their vehicles to finding safety, stability, and a renewed sense of home. We serve a growing population of unhoused women who fall through the cracks of traditional aid systems — women who are not addicts, not victims of domestic violence, but simply out of options.

Through compassionate outreach, daily peer check-ins, short-term hotel partnerships, and resource navigation, Car 2 Cottage provides a dignity-centered bridge from survival to stability. Our mission is simple yet urgent: to make sure every woman, regardless of circumstance, has the support and tools she needs to move from car to cottage — from crisis to confidence.
