INTERFAITH FOOD PANTRY OF THE ORANGES INC

The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges provides supplemental groceries to approximately 250 people a week in Orange, New Jersey. While all of our clients are food insecure, meaning that they don't have enough income to insure that they will always be able to provide food for their families, many do have jobs that just do not cover the bills. Our clients are also Vets, senior citizens and people with disabilities. About 40% of the food that is received at our pantry is going to children in the households.

The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges, Inc. Is a collaboration between 4 faith based congregations in Essex County —Congregation Beth El, Christ Church Short Hills, Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, and Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, The Interfaith Food Pantry provides supplemental and emergency food to residents in need of Orange and East Orange every Wednesday from 8:30-11:00 am, with the exception of the first Wednesday of the month.
