Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity partners with veterans and their families to provide home repairs to address their health and safety needs. We proudly serve active-duty military members, veterans surviving spouses of veterans who have been honorary discharged from all branches of the military.
Home repairs may include interior or exterior work performed to alleviate health, life, safety issues or code violations. Repair work may include ramps, roof repair, electrical, plumbing and weatherization.
Eligibility Requirements
· Applicant must be the homeowner of record (on the deed)
· Applicant must be current on existing mortgage, utilities, homeowner’s insurance and property taxes.
· Taxable income meets Area Median Income (AMI) 100% for veterans
· Veterans must provide a copy of DD-214
